Why hello there.
I know, I am a slacker. To be honest I’ve been pretty busy; I am training for the Paris Marathon this coming April… crazy, right?
I never thought in a million years I would attempt something like this–but alas, here I am. Running, running, running. Unfortunately this winter has been a beast. Trying to get in a long run is a daunting feat considering the polar vortex, “feels like -4°F”, snow, freezing rain, slush… just a nice dry sidewalk seems like a luxury at this point.
Last weekend I ran in what started out as a beautiful and enchanting snowfall. Because the ground was unusually warm, the snow soon turned into a lovely 2″ pool of slushy ice water. Not fun at all…
I’ve had better runs, but here’s a short vignette of some sights from this outing. (A day later I got a cold.)
The music is from a collection of songs I’ve been working on that may or may not eventually become a musical. Considering the lack of time I have to devote to just about anything but running, it’s going to be awhile before any of this is fully realized.
Anyway, I’ll update my blog regarding my training… still such a long ways to go before I’m ready.

Have you considered using a GoPro also ? Your iPhone does a super job but maybe being hands-free might be cool in certain instances. Just a thought. Great soundtrack.
