Year of the Dragon

I don’t much care for Americanized Chinese food, in other words beef & broccoli, sweet & sour chicken, etc. I find it to be fairly bland and boring… but this is probably the case for any American bastardization wether it be Italian or (especially) Mexican. It’s an enormous treat to be able to experience the real thing first hand.

My good friends (and recently engaged) Pat and Claire hosted a Chinese New Year’s celebration. Along with some of their friends they created an amazing spread of traditionally prepared (and absolutely delicious) Chinese/Taiwanese food.
