OK, so this is my first ever instructional video. Please be kind. Also, if you burn down your house, burn yourself, burn your tongs, burn your thong… I simply cannot take responsibility. Please attempt at your own risk.
I think I first remember seeing this done back in the 90’s on a TV cooking show called “Dinner and a Movie” (aired on TBS or maybe TNT). The concept was an overly peppy and cutesy couple cooking in-between commercial breaks during a film. Typically they would pair their menu with the theme of the movie being shown. Once their menu item was simply a martini and they were completely trashed by the film’s end. So… maybe that will be my next video attempt.
Anyway, I hope this short video wasn’t a complete waste of four minutes of your life. (I’ll try and keep the next one under two minutes.) Also… I shot this on my iPhone (not even the latest iPhone). Maybe I’ll invest in a better video taking gadget down the road.

Great video! Bravo… bravo.
I am envious of your gas stovetop! I am not as fortunate as you (oh to dream) … but I have had success using the gas grill … and my electric oven, only in desperation, on broil. Also, I don’t wash my peppers. I instead remove as much of the skin (and all the icky sticky stuff inside) and try to preserve as much of the roasted in juices – oils – as I can. I think that is where all the flavor hides.
Anyway, love … LOVE the video and would love to see more!
P.S. Loved your dogs!
Thanks! I will give that a try!
Bellissimo! Next…veggie lasagna.
gladly! 🙂
